President Biden and Donald Trump will face off in their first debate of the 2024 election season next month. The presidential candidates both accepted the invitation from CNN to debate on June 27th. A second debate has also been agreed to for September 10th.       A preliminary report is revealing new details on the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. According to the report by the National Transportation Safety Board, cargo ship Dali was leaving the Baltimore Harbor on March 26th when it lost electrical power and propulsion before striking a support pier, causing the bridge to collapse and kill six construction workers. Investigators also determined the ship suffered a blackout on March 25th, the day before it left the Port of Baltimore.        Inflation was down slightly last month. Consumer prices were up three-point-four percent for the previous 12 months, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The cost of gas and shelter accounted for more than 70 percent of the monthly inflation numbers.       Slovakia's Prime Minister is fighting for his life after an assassination attempt. Robert Fico [[ fee-so ]] was shot several times in Handlova, around 100 miles from the country's capital. According to a statement posted on his official Facebook page, Fico is in a life-threatening condition. Video shows police tackling the alleged gunman.        A visual art installation that allows New Yorkers to view Dublin in real time is already shut down due to inappropriate behavior. The Dublin Portal, which features a circular screen, is linked to an identical portal in the Irish capital, giving New Yorkers and Dubliners a chance to interact with one another via livestream. It just debuted last Wednesday but now it's temporarily closed because people have been behaving badly, like flashing one another and displaying foul language.        Max is giving the first look at "Dune: Prophecy." The streamer released the teaser trailer for the prequel series. It's inspired by the book "Sisterhood of Dune" and takes place ten-thousand years before the events of the "Dune" films. It follows to Harkonnen sisters as they fight for the future of humankind. "Dune: Prophecy" will premiere on Max this fall.
