It appears New York City Governor Kathy Hochul was asked to leave the wake of a NYPD officer killed in the line of duty. According to the Post, Governor Hochul was only at the wake of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller for about ten minutes, where it's believed, she was asked to leave. City council members are reported to have received a letter from the Policeman's Benevolent Association not to come to the services because of bail reform laws that allowed one of the men implicated in the shooting to walk last spring on a gun charge.    Pope Francis held Good Friday service today at St Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, but he is missing a big tradition due to health concerns. The Vatican says he will not take part in the night-time procession to Rome's Colosseum to mark Jesus' death by crucifixion. The Vatican adds the decision is to preserve his strength to preside over Mass on Easter Sunday.    Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell says it won't be appropriate to lower interest rates until officials are confident inflation is on track to the Fed's two-percent goal. While speaking from San Francisco today, Powell was referring to the latest inflation data which he said is in line with the central bank's expectations.    Experts are warning people about fake eclipse glasses. The American Astronomical Society reminded stargazers to wear approved eclipse glasses on April 8th to watch the event, and to make sure the use only glasses specially made to block almost all visible light. On April 8th, the moon will pass between Earth and the sun, blocking much of its light for a few minutes.    The NCAA Tournament's Sweet Sixteen continues today. In the first game, eleven-seed NC State will take on two-seed Marquette in Dallas. In Detroit, five-seed Gonzaga is set to face one-seed Purdue. Later in Dallas, one-seed Houston will take on four-seed Duke. Lastly, three-seed Creighton will play two-seed Tennessee in Detroit.    Musician Pharrell Williams is reportedly working on a musical that will be loosely based on his experiences growing up in Virginia Beach. Deadline reports that Williams would produce the film, which will be set in 1977 and take inspiration from his time living in the Atlantis Apartments. The film is in development at Universal and no release date has been set.
