The Royal Shakespeare Company’s “A Christmas Carol” will be performed at the Stadium Theatre from December 8th-17th!

 

Presenting the Royal Shakespeare Company’s version of “A Christmas Carol”, a new adaptation by David Edgar, based on the Charles Dickens classic.

 

Celebrate the holiday season with the redemption story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter man who is visited by the ghosts of Jacob Marley, Christmas Past, Present, and Future.

 

The Stadium’s 2023 production of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s version of “A Christmas Carol” by David Edgar promises to be a fresh adaptation of the classic tale that you won’t soon forget - brimming with extravagant scenery, lavish costumes, dramatic lighting, fog, and spirits! Rest assured, you’ll leave the theatre beaming with holiday excitement and energized with renewed Christmas spirit.

Saturday, December 9th at 2 PM and 7:30 PM

Sunday, December 10th at 2 PM

Wednesday, December 13th at 7:30 PM

The Federal Reserve is lowering interest rates by a quarter-percentage point. It marks the second straight interest rate cut. The benchmark rate is now in a range of three-point-75-percent to four-percent.        President Trump is taking a victory lap after reaching a trade deal with South Korea. It happened during meeting today between Trump and the South Korean president -- when afterwards Trump told reporters, "We did reach a deal." Seoul has reportedly agreed to purchase American-made planes and natural gas, in return for lower tariffs. Trump is set to meet next with China's president, part of his multi-day Asia trip.        Vice President JD Vance is in the deep South today for a Turning Point USA tour stop. He'll be speaking at the University of Mississippi. Vance was a close friend of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated at a speaking event in September. Vance will appear alongside Erika Kirk, the late conservative activist's wife and the new CEO of TPUSA.        Several lab monkeys were mistakenly killed, and three remain on the loose after a truck from Tulane University carrying them crashed. The crash happened in Southern Mississippi today, and law enforcement was initially told the primates were infected with STD's. Several were immediately "destroyed" by officers before Tulane clarified the animals weren't infectious.        A North Carolina man faces murder charges after he called 911 and said he killed four of his children. The Johnston County Sheriff's Office says deputies found his three-year-old son alive inside of the house, while his four older children were dead inside the trunk of his car. It's believed Wellington Dickens killed them between May and September of this year. The 39-year-old is currently being held without bond on four counts of murder.        The next Mega Millions jackpot is up to a whopping 754-million dollars. That's because there was no grand prize winner in Tuesday night's drawing. The next drawing is this Friday, Halloween night, with the odds of striking it rich about one in 290-million.
